Zynga has released a new animal in their aquarium game FishVille. It is a Gulf Coast Turtle and it goes along with a new partnership between Zynga and Audubon to help their Gulf Coast efforts in response to the on-going oil spill.Zynga says: “FishVille has joined with Audubon to help support its Gulf oil spill response and recovery efforts. Buy the Gulf Coast Turtle and 50% of all proceeds will go to Audubon to support its Gulf Coast Efforts!”
You can buy the turtle for either 25 or 200 Sand Dollars.
Another thing Zynga is doing to promote their partnership is allow users to find baby turtles and share them friends as wall posts. If you see a wall post about a turtle, be sure to click on it to add the turtle to your tank.
