Zynga has released two new gifts to the FishVille free gifts page in the form of giftable Superfoods.

As we reported late last month, the Superfoods are FishVille Caffeine and FishVille Super Grow. The Caffeine allows your fish to go longer without being fed (perfect for those who might unexpectedly run into a busier day, making them unable to check on their fish as often as they normally do), while the Super Grow is a shot of insta-growth for your fish, causing them to grow to maturity a bit faster (apparently at a rate of 10% per pill consumed).

Now, both of these items are giftable to friends via the game’s Free Gifts page. When you login to FishVille today, you’ll receive a pop-up alerting you to the new items, which can be found under the Feed menu in the bottom right corner of your screen.

Interestingly enough, according to Social Game Central, some users are actually being given free units of both Superfoods (in their case, 4 Caffeine and 6 Super Grows), but not everyone is as lucky (regardless of what the above pop-up may indicate), as you can see from my empty tally in the screenshot below.
