Social, YoVille

YoVille has been updated in a big way this week, with a slew of items being released in both the Furniture and Clothing stores in a new Moroccan theme. Before we get to those items, however, you’ll need a place to put the new furniture, which is why you might want to take a trip to the YoVille Real Estate Office to look at the new Moroccan Palace.

The Moroccan Palace will set you back 38 YoCash. For that price, you’ll receive a two-story building. On the first floor, you’ll have a large Front Yard, a Living Room, Kitchen, Back Yard, Courtyard, Bath Hall and Guest Bedroom, while the second floor contains the Landing (where the stairs connect both floors), a Master Bedoom and a Master Bathroom.

Here’s a small sample of what you can expect from the home, should you wish to tour or purchase it.

Once you purchase the Moroccan Palace, or even if you don’t, you may wish to outfit your living room in a matching theme of Moroccan furniture. Lucky you, the game’s Furniture Store now contains 112 new items (as of this writing) that will allow you to do just that.

As Moroccan items tend to be bright, colorful and full of patterns, so too are these items. You can find doorways, pillars, wall mounted TVs, floor lamps, wall sconces, chairs, pillows, loungers, fireplaces, mirrors, rugs, shelves, and much more.

There are items available for both coins and YoCash. As you might expect, from experience with previous YoVille themes, the most extravagant items, like the TVs and doorways (as but two examples), will cost you YoCash, while items that could be considered to be “accessories,” like wall shelves and stools, are available for coins.

There are also new flooring and wallpaper options to complete the theme, or, in the case of the tile flooring options, can be used to decorate any room in the house.

Now that your home is decked out in items celebrating Moroccan culture, why not change your avatar’s clothing as well? You can do so by heading to the game’s Clothing Store and browsing through the new category of themed items. For girl avatars, there are 28 items to choose from, including earrings, hats, and purses (all for YoCash), and shirts, shoes, full outfits, separate shirts and skirts that go for coins.

Here, the items come in four basic color palettes: Blue, Orange, Pink and Purple. It’s up to you to decide whether or not you purchase all of the items in the same color, or whether you mix and match them.

We can only assume that both new Moroccan furniture and clothing items will be coming to YoVille in the near future, but for now, make sure to head over to the game’s page on Facebook to browse through this first wave of items.
