To go along with the launch of the St. Patrick’s Day Pot of Gold event in FarmVille, Zynga has introduced a new way for users to earn one of the most valuable commodities in the game – fuel.
Now, when plowing your land, you’ll have a chance to strike oil – black gold! (Feel free to start singing the Beverly Hillbillies opening to yourself – I know I did).
Now, while striking into this “Texas tea” won’t land us all a mansion in the Beverly Hills, it will allow you to spread the free fuel around to your friends, by asking you to post an item to your news feed, alerting your friends to the discovery. With a simple click on the “Get Some” link that is provided, you’ll receive a small can of fuel.
Add this to the five free fuel cans we receive when finishing item collections, and you’ve got little reason to ever purchase fuel with Farm Cash again. That, my friends, is a very good thing.
