You Can Now Adopt a Lunar Cat or Dog in Happy Pets

The Chinese (Lunar) New Year Celebrations are continuing this week with the release of a lunar dog and cat in Happy Pets.

Both the cat and the dog are bright orange with black stripes, in a nod to the fact that 2010 is the year of the tiger. If you’d like to give one of these tiger-striped cuties a home, they’ll set you back 18 Facebook credits (around $2).

According to Games.com, the pets only differ from their much cheaper, traditionally colored counterparts in terms of aesthetics, so whether or not you decide to shell out the real money to adopt one will depend on just how much you love their color scheme.

To give either of these little guys (or gals, depending on your preference) a home, head over to the game’s page – do it fast; they’ll only be available for a limited time.
