Yahoo Making a Move on a Mobile Dev

Android, Industry, iPhone, Mobile

Yahoo is a big time sports content creator with several articles and live reports surrounding sporting events. As part of that incentive it seems, Yahoo is expected to acquire Citizen Sports which currently creates sports apps and games for the iPhone and Facebook. While it’s just rumor at this point, it sounds very likely.

As of now, Citizen Sports is probably best known for creating the Sportacular iPhone app which is constantly updated to provide up-to-the minute sports scores complete with fan conversation and the latest news about the players that make the games great. Besides Sportacular, Citizen Sports has also created several games surrounding the ‘Fantasy’ aspect of several sports such as Football, Basketball, Hockey and Soccer.
