Contests, Facebook

Some very lucky players of Hands-On Entertainment’s Facebook game WPT Texas Hold ‘Em Poker will be given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, as the developer is offering fans a chance to win two seats to the World Poker Tour’s Campions Boot Camp, taking place at the Golden Nugget casino in Las Vegas on October 8-10.

The contest is open to any and all players of WPT Texas Hold ‘Em Poker, and it runs until September 29. During that time, any user that purchases a chip package will be entered for a chance to win. If you’d rather not purchase a chip package, you can also enter by hand-printing your user information (name, mailing address, and daytime phone number) on a 3×5 card and sending it to Hands-On Entertainment’s offices in San Francisco (the full details concerning entry methods can be found here).

Two winners will be able to learn from ten of the world’s best Texas Hold ‘Em poker players, with their training being spread through nine sessions. They’ll also have the chance to play in three tournaments for a chance to win seats in the 2011 WPT VIP Celebrity Invitational event. The prize also includes a $1,000 cash prize for the winners.

Speaking of the contest, Senior Director of Marketing for Hands-On, David McCaman has this to say:

We wanted to provide our fans with a great opportunity to advance their poker skills in one of the most iconic casino settings in Las Vegas. Hands-On is committed to providing a fun and challenging gaming experience that fans can share with their friends and families on Facebook. We’re very excited to be able to extend this to a real life experience for our users with WPT Champions Boot Camp.

If a user is unable to attend the training cap in Las Vegas in October, then they will be offered a trip to an alternate two-day camp sometime in the future. For complete details concerning the contest, or for a chance to win yourself, head over to WPT Texas Hold ‘Em Poker on Facebook.
