iPad, iPhone, Mobile

The Portable Gamer recently reviewed the upgraded iPad version of Words With Friends, dubbed Words With Friends HD. Now, if you haven’t heard of the original iPhone game, it’s essentially scrabble that can be played with anyone around the world at any time. It’s completely turn based in that it isn’t necessarily played in real-time meaning your opponent can take his time in deciding on his next move.

The iPad version appears to largely be the same as the iPhone version but with a much larger screen to make it easier to play and use. Everything has been re-worked to fit and take advantage of the higher-resolution on the iPad.

Having played my fair share of Scrabble, I can safely say it’s for the best that I am currently iPad-less. I can only imagine how many hours would be wasted in this game.
