With so many games being released on the iTunes app store, it’s sometimes hard to keep up with which ones you should or shouldn’t be playing on your iPhone. Playing much like the Whack-A-Mole games you’d find on a carnival midway, Whack’n Roll manages to stay interesting and fresh due to its game mode variety. Featuring an adventure mode that is 45 levels long, boss fights and more, Whack’n Roll should be fun for all ages. The neatest event around the game right now is that you have the chance to win an iPad just by playing it.
In SlideToPlay‘s review of the game, they said it “has its problems, like a terrible English translation and a storyline that doesn’t make a lick of sense” and that it has the potential to get boring very quickly. However, “real-world prizes for online competition are an exciting idea, and kids will probably enjoy the cartoony graphics.”

Combining a fantasy world with post-apocalyptic elements, Rimelands manages to create a rather solid RPG experience on the iPhone. Steampunk artistry litters the atmosphere and makes a game that many RPG fans have been waiting to play on the iPhone.
In their review, GameZebo said Rimelands: Hammer of Thor “is a solid and enjoyable RPG” and that “It may be slightly generic in a number of respects, but it’s easy to find yourself losing hours of your life thanks to the excellent combat system and in-depth character customization options.”
