Frisky Misc

Seriously, Wargame: European Escalation. What are you even going to do with over 360 units in your game? That’s lunacy. If you were a board game, you would have to be shipped in three separate boxes. And you say you’ve taken the time to faithfully research and model these hundreds of vehicles and fighting forces? Don’t you know there’s a war on?! Stop showing us these awesome screens of what these units look like, Focus Home Interactive! You call yourself a TriplePoint client?

Just listen to yourself:

In Wargame: European Escalation, four nations from NATO take part in the battles raging. Discover in today’s screenshots American, British, West-German and French units.

This makes for a total of 180 different units (tanks, infantry, helicopters, support vehicles, etc) all modeled after their real-life counterparts, that you can see in today’s screenshots. Wargame’s powerful engine, the IRISZOOM™, animates all these units on incredibly huge maps as big as 150 square kilometers (60mi²), which display over 100 million scenery objects. Battles end up being as spectacular as they are realistic and deeply strategic, while hundreds of vehicles, infantry, and helicopters battle fiercely over the warzone!

Okay, well.. that actually does sound pretty great. I guess we should go look at all of the new screens, over here.
