iPad, Mobile

Everyone is looking to cash in on the iPad, especially content creators that already have established streams on other mediums. USA Today is the latest company looking to take advantage by announcing their plan for a subscription-based content delivery service on the iPad.

USA Today has already released an iPad that is very popular for the new tablet computer. However, USA Today announced plans for a new subscription model that will launch this summer. Exact pricing has not been announced but it’s expected to be released within the next two months.

Currently, the USA Today app has already been downloaded over 175,000 times and is ad-supported. How this new announcement affects this existing app is unknown, so we will all just have to wait and see.
