Casual, iPhone, Mobile

All of those 2009 Top 10 Lists can’t have been wrong, it seems; the folks at Firemint are reporting that their popular iPhone game, Flight Control, has crossed the 2,000,000 sold mark. The second game to do so after Pocket God, Flight Control officially hit the milestone on January 23rd, according to statistics on Firemint’s website.

Firemint, in fact, credits the many end-of-year lists for helping give the game its latest sales spike to put it over the top. “We have seen a general increase in sales just before and since Christmas, which we attribute to Flight Control appearing on many ‘best of 2009′ lists, as well as an increase in the number of devices out there and iTunes cards being given as gifts.”

Congratulations to the hardworking team at Firemint for a great game.
