Frisky Misc

Did someone say the Internet killed the Television star? The Neilsen Three Screen Report thinks that a new report has debunked the notion that the internet would eventually kill TV. While I’m sure that the internet has taken a considerable amount of eyes away from the TV, I wouldn’t count TV out just yet.

“The initial fear was that Internet and mobile video and entertainment would slowly cannibalize traditional TV viewing, but the steady trend of increased TV viewership alongside expanded simultaneous usage argues something quite different,” remarked Matt O’Grady of Neilsen.

Perhaps the most interesting statistic is that more people are watching TV, while on the internet. The latest study pointed out that Americans spend on average 3.5 hours per month watching TV while on the internet.
