Turn Your iPad Into a Laptop With the ClamCase

iPad, Mobile

So you want to use your iPad more effectively and more as a production device? The fine folks at ClamCase may have the answer for you as an alternative to the official Apple keyboard dock: the ClamCase.

The ClamCase is intended for three purposes: As a case, a stand and keyboard dock. To make it work, you just simply slide your iPad into the connector on the dock and you’re good to go. Once in the case, you can then have it propped up in landscape view with a bluetooth keyboard for easy typing. Essentially, it turns your iPad into a production laptop in some respects.

The only off part is that you will still need to touch the iPad to perform actions that are not typing but that was to be expected as there is no cursor on the iPad screen or anything of the sort. The whole point of connecting the ClamCase to your iPad is to improve the typing and production of the iPad.

No pricing of the ClamCase is known at the time, but they are planning to launch sometime this fall.
