Island Paradise, Social

If you liked traveling back in time with Island Paradise’s look at archeology, ancient pottery and dinosaur bones, you’ll, in theory, be equally excited for the game’s next item theme: Ancient Egypt.

For starters, you can dress your avatar up as either a Mummy or in traditional Egyptian garb by heading into the avatar customization menu via the red t-shirt button at the bottom of the gameplay screen. You’ll find that that both costumes come in multiple pieces – the Mummy costume can be purchased for 3,000 coins, while the traditional Egyptian costume costs 275 Meteor Credits.

Now that your avatar is dressed to impress, head over to the game’s shop to take a look at the new items that are available. First, there are two premium items, a Cobra and a Mummy Sarcophagus, that go for 250 and 350 Meteor Credits, respectively.

Next, scroll a few pages into the Decorative items tab and you’ll find a Pyramid, Sphinx, Sobek Statue and Anubis Statue, all of which unlock for purchase to users level 24 and above. They cost either 15,000, 20,000 or 25,000 coins, meaning that you’ll have to have saved up quite a bit of coins to be able to purchase even one of them.

If you’d like to take a trip back in time to ancient Egypt, head over to the Island Paradise game page on Facebook.
