iPhone, Mobile

With so many games being released on the iTunes app store, it’s sometimes hard to keep up with which ones you should or shouldn’t be playing on your iPhone. Thankfully, we have the review round-up to show you the best games available on the app store, complete with summaries and reviews from all around the web.

The Incident

You have been the victim of an unfortunate trash incident and it’s up to you to climb Mount Trash in order to supposedly plug the giant hole that the trash fell out of. Sporting a retro style and side-scrolling gameplay, it’s setup to be an instant classic for the iPhone.

In their review of the game, Slidetoplay said that it was best played in short bursts and that “the appeal starts to wear a bit after about 10 to 20 minutes” and that “you’ll likely turn it off” after that. However, “The good news is that the game feels pretty fresh when you return, so you’ll have scaled Jacob’s ladder of crud before very long” and overall, “The Incident is fun, it’s quick, and even though you’ll move on from it sooner than later, your memories will be fond and warm.”

Rating: 3 out of 4.

Price: $1.99.

Fly Away Rabbit

The objective is simple and easy in Fly Away Rabbit, move the blocks in the sky so the little rabbit can reach the cloud and catch some much needed rest. However, don’t take it as being easy as the later levels can prove quite difficult to even the most quick-minded players.

TheAppEra reviewed the game and said it was “very laid back” and a “fantastic puzzler.” Overall, “There are no major flaws – just simple gameplay that works well.”

Price: 99¢.
