The theme is mostly represented by a series of new decorations that will help you continue the over-the-top extravagance that is Versailles. The coin items include a White Courtesan Chair, five different types of tables (a Side Table, two Marble Tables and two Jade Extensions), a wall-mounted sconce, a Stone Divider Wall, two types of columns, two statues, a Porthos figure, three wallpapers, and even two outdoor plant items – a Cone Hedge and Square Hedge.
These items range in price from 1500 coins for the Dainty Side Table and Stone Divider Wall to 17000 coins for the Porthos figure.
Meanwhile, the amount of premium items is actually fairly high this week, with selections including an Exquisite Pink or Purple Chair for 3 Playfish Cas Playfish h each, a Grand Black Marble Table for 3 Playfish Cash, an Elegant Rug for 6 Playfish Cash, Athos and Aramis statues for 8 Cash each, a Marie Antoinette figure for 10 Playfish Cash, and a Rhythmic Fountain for 12 Playfish Cash. Two final items are a Flamingo shaped hedge for 2 Playfish Cash and a functional item, the Harpsichord, which is available for 18 Playfish Cash. It allows your guests to play the instrument, and it earns 900 coins every four hours.
Meanwhile, if you’d rather spend your time in the game helping friends decorate their own restaurants, rather than purchasing items for your own, you can send your friends a new item, the Green Marble Column, an indoor decorative item, from the game’s free gifts menu.
Additionally, new recipes have been added to go along with this item set. The first is a Starter in the form of French Onion Soup. The soup is a limited dish, meaning that if you can’t learn it within the next 18 days, it will be gone from you, presumably for good. The soup requires four ingredients to learn: Onion, Garlic, Bread and Cheese.
The next recipe is a Dessert recipe - the Fancy French Pastry. It too is a limited time dish, with the same 18 day time limit. It can be learned with four ingredients: Chocolate, Raisins, Coconut and a Strawberry.
Finally, the last dish is an especially interesting one, as it is one of the special recipes that unlocks a themed, exclusive decorative item upon mastering it. The dish is the French Confit, and it can be learned with four ingredients: two of the game’s new Duck ingredient, a Potato and Garlic. If you can level the Duck Confit up to level 10, you’ll receive the Glorious Fountain in return, which adds a +1 bonus to your restaurant’s maximum popularity.
If any of this sounds interesting to you, make sure to head over to the game’s page on Facebook to see the updates in action.
