Frisky Misc

Over at VentureBeat, games writer Dean Takahashi tackles the touchy subject of “best games” of the year. He lists eight games, and they are:

  • Red Dead Redemption
  • Alan Wake
  • Mass Effect 2
  • God of War 3
  • BioShock 2
  • Heavy Rain
  • Super Mario Galaxy 2
  • Battlefield: Bad Company 2

He handed off two honorable mentions to complete the top 10: Splinter Cell Conviction and America’s Test Kitchen: Let’s Get Cooking.

Given that the year is only half over, you probably wouldn’t get too many arguments over this list of games (though, you would definitely spawn some vitriol over what one is the best of the bunch).

Given that the year of games is nearly half over, what game has caught your fancy the most?
