Tetris Party Deluxe Coming to Wii and DS

Casual, Console

Last week, Tetris Party Deluxe was announced for both the Wii and the Nintendo DS.

The duo of games serves as a follow up to the WiiWare title Tetris Party. The sequels provide 6 new game modes, which, according to Destructoid, contain options like Bombliss and Vs. Sprint modes, with the latter challenging multiple players to get to 40 lines first.

The games are set to support both local and online multiplayer through Nintendo Wi-Fi connection, and the Wii version will support the whole line of Nintendo’s peripherals: the Balance Board, Wii Speak, and the Wii Wheel, although the uses for each item aren’t yet known.

No release date has been given to the pair of titles, but I can only hope it will be sooner rather than later, as one can never have enough Tetris in their life.
