Touch Arcade recently took a look at Eurocenter’s upcoming gallery shooting game Cocoto’s Magic Circus on the iPhone.
The game follows four characters: Cocoto, Shiny, Neuro, and Baggy as they try to save a pixie named Fairy from the clutches of an evil clown. To rescue Fairy, you’ll have to make your way through seven challenges each in five graphically different settings, making for 35 challenges in all.
The game is played by simply tapping on the screen to shoot, with obstacles to be avoided, and floating power-ups and bonuses to be collected throughout. The power-ups and bonuses come in both good and bad forms like doubling your score, turning out the lights, causing your gun to jam, scoring you free hits and so on.
The game’s arcade mode takes you through each of the challenges in order, while a training mode allows you to test your skills on any challenge in the game at will. Online multiplayer is also set to be included in the final product.
Cocoto’s Magic Circus will hit the iTunes App Store on March 4, at a price of 99 cents. While you wait patiently for the game to launch, have a look at this gameplay video to get a better feel for what’s in store:
