Cafe World, Social

A new weekly theme of items has been set loose in Cafe World, and it sees the game taking a trip to the City of Lights – Paris, France. There are new decorative items, along with a new recipe to cook in the game. First, let’s take a look at the theme’s new decorative and functional items.

For starters, you’ll be able to create the look of a French bistro in your cafe by adding some iron tables and chairs to your building. A Bistro Door for 8,000 coins obviously fits the theme with its latticework design, while a series of wall-mounted posters adds a bit of a cool and young touch to the set.  There are two new wallpapers and flooring designs to choose from (four items total), while the decorations tab has quite a few themed items, including a replica of the Eiffel Tower, two colors of Scooter, a mime, a can can dancer, and even a pretty pink poodle, among others. For actual functional items, the new items are a Green and Gold Stove and a Steel Counter.

As usual, if you’d like to pick up a few of these items in bulk, and don’t have the Cafe Cash to spend on all of them individually, you can take a chance with the new Mystery Crate, which is available to purchase for 10 Cafe Cash, and gives you a randomized assortment of items from the theme.

Meanwhile, on the game’s free gifts page, you can find some new French-themed goodies, including Creme Brulee, Cream Puffs, and 35 portion servings of the game’s newest recipe, the Escargot.

Speaking of Escargot, it is available to cook for users that are at least level 73. It cooks for 3,950 coins, and is ready to serve after 10 hours of cooking time. Once it’s ready, you’ll have 500 servings that can be sold for 13 coins per serving, for a total of 6,500 coins. You’ll earn 248 Cafe Points in the process of cooking and serving the dish.

Now that you’ve got the furniture and menu to provide an authentic Parisian experience for your virtual guests, head over to the game’s page on Facebook to get started in doing just that.
