Facebook is teeming with fish games – Happy Aqaurium, FishVille and Tall Tree Games’ Fish World to name a few. The latter has everything you could want from a social aquarium simulator – tons of fish, decorations, food, customization options and community features.
There is one thing, however, I wasn’t expecting to find behind the algae when I returned to Fish World after a few days away from my aquarium… floating dead fish!
In Fish World, if you don’t take care of your finned friends, they will kick the proverbial bucket. What next? Players have 2 options: get your neighbors to come revive your fish (they earn XP and coins for doing so), OR flush the fish. Luckily I wasn’t too attached to my social school, so down the drain they went.
You can bet I’ve been going back regularly to prevent this type of tragedy from happening again. It may be a bit morbid, but Tall Tree Games has definitely found a unique way to engage their users!
