If you’ve ever had a mouse invade your home, you know the damage those little monsters can do when they put their minds to it. Chewing holes in your furniture, getting into your food — did you know why, though? Turns out they hate your fruit. Hate it so much. That’s the very (maybe) true story behind Fruit Blast Mania, the latest mobile title from TriplePoint client Storm8. The game puts you in the fruit-loathing shoes of Harrison the mouse, and tasks you with blasting all of the fruit. Plus, it’s not a time-based twitchy sort of tile-matching affair, but one where you can take your time, and plan your moves. That’s how much this mouse despises fruit — he’s making sure it all gets destroyed, carefully and thoroughly. This fruit murder is premeditated.
From the press release:
Available today for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, Fruit Blast Mania serves up hundreds of levels where players burst fruit clusters with a touch. Unlike common tile-matching games that pit players against the clock, Fruit Blast Mania delivers specially designed puzzles that require strategic matching to solve. Each level also contains new obstacles to consistently challenge players.
Don’t let mice fool you with their adorable little paws and fuzzy little faces. They know you’re keeping fruit around and this will not stand.
