While not your typical football game, Steve Young Football is all about pitting the famous footballer through various challenge such as scoring touchdowns by collecting stars, but along the way he’ll come across obstacles such as rabid pigs, pinball bumpers, minefields, and zombies which are all things you really wouldn’t expect to find in a football game. You’ll need to flick Steve Young in a very precise manner to make sure he hits his necessary targets without clobbering into obstacles.
In their review, AppSpy said it “is anything but an ordinary experience and for that alone it’s worth having a look at, but the puzzles and controls don’t feel as tight as they could be, making this a hard game to recommend outright.”
Rating: 3 out of 5.
The title of this game is actually very descriptive of the game, in that you are simply defending your garden of daffodils, and must do so by planting your axe in your enemies’ faces. You are a viking farmer, so it would be difficult to think of doing any different.
In their review, Slidetoplay said it “is full of cartoony violence and goofy charm, and we couldn’t help but smile while we played it. With 32 levels it’ll keep you entertained for a while, but a game like this would benefit hugely from having an endless mode.”
