Steam Celebrates Team Fortress 2 Mac Launch With Free Weekend

Sat, Jun 12, 2010

Friday marked the launch of Team Fortress 2 for Mac and to celebrate, Valve is offering you a chance to play the game for free all weekend. You can play the FPS on either PC or Mac. Additionally you can pick up a copy of Team Fortress 2 for 50% off, costing you only $10. Both offers expire on Monday the 14th.

If you haven’t given Team Fortress 2 a whirl yet (it’s been out for over two years), the game is a cartoony, team-based first person shooter. There’s a versatile offering of roles to play, from healer to sniper to pyromaniac. It’s free; now’s the time to try it! Valve is also offering a reward to players that play on the Mac before June 14th: in-game earbuds. Head over to Steam Powered to check out the new OSX-compatible version.
