With the instant (and tremendous) success of the FarmVille iPhone app, it’s not a surprise that Zynga would want to reorganize the way they communicate with fans to better handle the differences between playing the game on a handheld and on a computer. To do this, they have launched a new Twitter account, specifically for news concerning FarmVille’s mobile exploits, and as such, it is appropriately named “FarmVille Mobile.”
As of this writing, there isn’t much information on the account just yet, but we’re guessing that in the future, the account could be quite useful in announcing iPhone exclusive in-game items, just like the Apple trees (etc.) we told you about earlier in the week.
Seeing that both playing FarmVille on the iPhone and following the FarmVille Mobile Twitter account will cost you nothing, why not look into becoming a follower? Who knows what goodies Zynga might post there in the future.
