As we told you earlier in the week, this week’s theme in Restaurant City is 1960′s Pop Chic, and just like every week, the new recipes (in this case, singular – see the Bundt Cake) precede the release of the decorative items by at least a day. However, the wait for the full theme is now over, with the 1960′s decorative and functional items being now available to purchase in the game’s store. Let’s take a look at what’s available.
First, there are 8 different types of chairs to choose from, ranging from plastic Monobloc chairs to Mod Sofas. Three tables accompany it, including the Mixed Grain Table, which can only be received as a gift from friends on the game’s free gifts menu. There is an Airport Clock, three colors of dividers, two pieces (in two different colors) to create sectional sofas, and a Beatnik that serve as decorations.
Six new floor tiles combine various colors into block and circular patterns, while a whopping 14 different wallpaper options (in both striped and solid, muted color tones) will compliment any of the flooring types you happen to choose.
In terms of functional or premium items, the selection here is incredibly slim. There are two colors of Disco Floor Tile – Blue and Green. They both flash with light and cost 2 Playfish Cash each. The final item is the “Soup” – Pop Art Print Series that unlocks at level 57, costs a whopping 300,000 coins, and will add 0.5 points to your restaurant’s maximum popularity rating.
Don’t forget – in addition to these items, there is the new Pop Magic Box, which we told you about earlier in the week. Head over to the game’s page to start shopping for any of the items in this theme.
