Earlier today, Nvinium Games announced that Space Empires: Battle for Supremacy will be launched as a Facebook title later this month. The game is based off of the popular Space Empires franchise from Strategy First.
The game challenges players with finding peace in the middle of a galactic war, while they explore new planets, build an empire of their own, and travel throughout the far reaches of the galaxy. The game features real time combat, over 100 solar systems to explore (each with several planets), and an upgrade tree that offers the ability to research new technology for their ships and other items.
As you play, you’ll climb the leaderboards based on multiple factors, including “military strength, empire dominance, racial superiority, and resource management.” This will allow you to compare your progress with that of other players on multiple different levels.
One last feature worth noting is the Alliances that will allow players to team up with other races in order to defend territories or conquer other planets – it’s up to each group what they will do with their resources and time.
Space Empires: Battle for Supremacy will launch on Facebook on July 27. Check out the announcement trailer below for your first look at the game.
