PoxNora as a brand as been around since 2006, when SOE launched the game on a standalone website. The game is a combination of the real-time-strategy (RTS) and card-collecting genres, based in a fantasy setting that has seen quite a bit of success, reaching 2.5 million registered accounts to date.
With the Facebook version of PoxNora, SOE has implemented community play and a system of microtransactions that will help it fit right in with the hub’s social gaming elite. Users playing the Facebook version of the game will be allowed to invite their friends to play, as well as post their in-game accomplishments on their news feeds.
