Social, Social City

The latest Social City game update has seen Playdom tweak the amount of Happiness Points being given out by two of the game’s larger buildings, the Court House and Skyscraper Office.

When the Court House was released in the game at the end of April, it offered 17,000 Happiness Points to your town. After this update, however, that number has raised to 33,000. The other stats associated with the item, including its unlock level (level 29) and its experience point reward for building (5,600 points) remain intact.

Meanwhile, the Skyscraper Office was just released about a week and a half ago. At the time, like the Court House, it initially provided 17,000 Happiness Points to your town. However, by taking a look in the game’s store, we’ll see that it now provides 35,000 Happiness Points. As with the Court House, the Skyscraper Office’s other stats remain unchanged – it’s still unlocked at level 30, and you still receive 5,600 experience points for building one.

With these changes, it makes these high level items much more worthwhile to build, so good on Playdom for realizing the skewed figures and changing them. To see how these new numbers have affected your town (assuming you had either built), head over to the game’s page on Facebook.
