Social, Social City

Attention Social City players! If you’re one of the many users who signed up to receive email updates from Playdom’s city-building game, you’ll want to keep a very close eye on your inbox, as you should be receiving an email containing a link to receive a free Ferris Wheel in the game – just for being a member of the email newsletter club!

For those who’ve been playing the game for a while, you’ll recognize this as an item that was released back in March for 30 City Bucks, adding 8,000 Happiness Points to your town. Now, though, the item’s Happiness Point bonus has increased from 8,000 to 12,000 points, making this an even better gift for everyone who has signed up to receive emails.

When you receive the email, it will contain a large green button, as seen below, which will take you over to Facebook, where you’ll receive your free Ferris Wheel. If you haven’t received the email containing your own link to receive the Ferris Wheel, be patient – there are lots of people who play the game, and we’re sure you’ll get it soon!

My ferris wheel has no wheel… Everything else is there. Does the animated wheel take a while to come up???

Hmm, I got a second email from Playdom that said some people had trouble claiming their Ferris Wheel, but the problem had been fixed… It didn't say anything about problems with the animation though. Are you using the low-quality visual mode?
