Facebook, Social

In a press release today, Six Flags Entertainment, known for their massive theme parks across the world has announced the launch of their brand new Facebook game called Mascot Park in collaboration with Making Fun studios.

The game starts off letting you create your own mascot that is destined to be the star character to appear in Six Flags’ shows. The idea is to make your mascot as entertaining as possible and entertain your friends with performances. The better the show, the more fans your mascot will attain which allows you to unlock new costumes, mascots, stage props and sets. Along with solo performances, you can invite friends on-stage and perform antics on them as well.

“We designed this game to be inherently more social than other Facebook games because you actually interact with your friends’ shows and mascots,” said John Welch, CEO of Making Fun.  ”If you’re so inclined, throw an ax at your friend’s mascot while they are putting on a show or dazzle them with pyrotechnics.  Players can decide the level of interaction.”

If you’d like to check out the game for yourself, head over to its game page.
