Roller coaster puns aside, Six Flags is whiplashing its way on to Facebook with a social game of its own, called ‘Six Flags Mascot Park’. The concept is designed around players creating mascots and training them to become stars of a Six Flags park.
Six Flags joins several other brands bringing their game to Facebook. The move is considered to be very smart, as there’s potential of hundreds of millions of people that can and will play your game and see your brand.
The new game is set to allow you to let your creative side go wild, inviting personalization and social interaction as well. Your ‘mascot’ is your creation that you can personalize and dance with or blow up with dynamite.
“We wanted to offer fans a forum to entertain, amuse and interact but we also recognize the importance of integrating a unique and over-the-top experience to the online community,” said Mike Antinoro, executive vice president of marketing and entertainment at Six Flags.
