Would you rather fight a duck the size of a horse, or 100 horses the size of ducks? If you’re prone to debating hypotheticals with your friends, there’s a good chance you’ve heard this question posed once or twice. Apparently, so has game creator John “jmtb02″ Cooney, because he just released a new browser game where you have to make that exact decision — and then act upon it. Witness the insanity that is Super Duck Punch on Kongregate — a game that pits you, as a fit chap in boxing gloves, going toe-to-hoof with your choice of a giant duck or a swarm of tiny horses.
A few attacks and a high jump at your command will see you pummeling the hapless creature of your choice into submission, and while that would be enough for a laugh and a diversion, jmtb02 never goes into his games half-heartedly. Soon, you’ve got to choose between hamster-sized hippos, hydra-headed giraffes, and combinations thereof — while earning prize money to upgrade your strength and stamina. Everything about this game is exactly as ridiculous as it sounds, and that is the wonderful part.
Just thought this was the kind of thing that a Frisky Mongoose reader ought to know. Would you rather fight a mongoose the size of a bear, or 100 bears the size of mongooses?
