SEGA Gets Mobilized

Android, Frisky Misc, Handheld, iPad, iPhone, Mobile

TriplePoint client SEGA is no stranger to the mobile market, but every so often, even a long-time veteran takes the time to step up their game. Two major titles were just announced from the publisher for a couple of mobile platforms, just in case you were worried there weren’t enough incredible games out there for you to play while away from your couch.

Yesterday, SEGA put Virtua Tennis Challenge on every smartphone-based device it could find, releasing the title on both the iOS App Store and Google Play for Android-type deals. Then, today, we started Bringin’-SEGA-ta-Vita, with the announcement that Jet Set Radio is headed to the Sony portable this summer.

Ideally, this is just an affirmation of SEGA’s support for mobile and portable devices, but we all know what this really means: You cannot escape SEGA. No matter where you go, there will be something with SEGA on it. They will find you. And they will entertain the hell out of you. You have been warned.
