Casual, Console

Sega has announced that the Conduit 2, being released exclusively for the Nintendo Wii later this year, will support the Wii MotionPlus technology, allowing users to the ability to more accurately aim with their weapons by pointing at the screen, as well as change their perspective by rotating the camera.

The Conduit 2 is the latest in what remains a rather short list of titles that will support the technology. But while Wii MotionPlus will be supported by the game, those users who haven’t purchased one will be able to experience the Conduit 2 as well, as the MotionPlus technology here is voluntary.

“Wii MotionPlus is something that the fans have been asking for since it was announced – we looked at it for the original game, took a look at its implementation in other titles, and ultimately felt that we could add to the experience in Conduit 2 by supporting it.” explains Eric Nofsinger, Chief Creative Officer of High Voltage Software, via a company press release.

The Conduit 2 is set to release in the fall of 2010. For more information about the game, head over to Sega’s official website.
