Frisky Misc, iPad, iPhone, Mobile

Oh, man — ’80s cartoons, pop culture, and video games, and it’s not even Saturday morning yet? According to TriplePoint client Joystick Labs, they’ve just released their debut title, Saturday Morning RPG, which comes with pretty much every element of my childhood except a really unhealthy IP-branded breakfast cereal. The soundtrack is from the same guy who did the Duck Tales cartoon theme, you guys. That’s worth the price of admission alone — and the price of admission is free. This is completely rad and you will feel totally moldy and lame if you do not check it out.

From the press release:

An episodically epic role-playing game inspired by the best cartoons and pop culture icons the 80s had to offer, SMRPG is a love-letter to all your best childhood weekend memories. To take up the fight against the forces of retro evil, download the first episode of SMRPG from the App Store today for free.

Oh, and there’s a trailer. Pour yourself a bowl of Fruity Pebbles and settle in!
