Rumor: iPad’s iOS4 to Hit in November?

iPad, Mobile

TheAppEra is reporting on a rumor that could turn out to be very prominent in the iPad game if true. The rumor states that the iPad will be receiving its iOS4 update in November, which would coincide with Steve Jobs’ previous assessment of “this fall.”

The quote concerning Apple’s iAds that are set to hit July 1st reads:

“The July 1 rollout announced by Apple doesn’t necessarily coincide with the objectives of the marketers themselves, and many are staggering launches on the platform through the fall. Apple is telling marketers that the device considered most promising for advertisers — the iPad — won’t be on the iAd platform until November.”

That last part was indeed the most important, in that the iPad would need iOS4 to run iAds.

So, what do you think? Does this quote hold truth as to when the iPad will receive the much requested iOS 4 update? Let us know in the comments section below or on our forum.
