According to VentureBeat, rumors are circulating that the online video service Hulu may be coming to Xbox 360. Hulu currently streams episodes of several ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox shows at Hulu.com, but bringing the service to the living room would certainly change the game a bit.
Online blog Gear Live has reportedly seen a new version of the Xbox 360 Dashboard bearing Hulu as a new streaming option. The new feature, if real, is expected to be announced at the E3 Expo later this month and would likely require a gold subscription to view.
No official statement has been released from either Microsoft or Hulu, but it would add a third element to the Xbox 360′s media capabilities with its Zune Marketplace and Netflix streaming options currently available.
Perhaps this is Microsoft trying to stay ahead of the game with both the Wii and PS3 now offering Netflix streaming as well. Would you pay for a Hulu subscription if you could watch your favorite TV shows on your TV on-demand?
