With so many games being released on the iTunes app store, it’s sometimes hard to keep up with which ones you should or shouldn’t be playing on your iPhone. Thankfully, we have the review round-up to show you the best games available on the app store, complete with summaries and reviews from all around the web.
Being a side-scrolling battle brawler, Sherwood Legend also incorporates some light role-playing elements. By having and harnessing these elements, you are able to attack waves of enemies and use these elements to put forth additional health, speed and strength to gain the advantage. Controlling and functioning just how you would expect, it appears to be a competent title.
In their review, PocketGamer said “Mindless side-scrolling fighting games need to possess a certain quality to allow them to rise above the predictably samey nature of the action, and sadly Robin Hood: Sherwood Legend doesn’t qualify.”

As a spacemen that explores other planets, it is your task to blast these outworldly creatures back to the center of the planet they are from. As you progress through the levels and manage to survive, you’ll receive weapon upgrades that will make the journey much easier. Playing and feeling like an arcade game out of the 80′s, Buganoids can inspire nostalgia, even for being a fairly new title.
In their review of the game, GameZebo said it “isn’t quite precise or responsive enough, which proves to be a significant downer in a game that relies on swift reactions and instantaneous control. Ultimately, while it’s a fun and quirky shooter which has been lovingly crafted to remind us of the games of our youth (real or imagined), Buganoids just doesn’t quite have the same effortless pull as the better games in the Backflip Studios range.”
