iPhone, Mobile

Tapulous, the creator of Tap Tap Revenge, has launched a new rhythm game on the iPhone entitled Riddim Ribbon.

At first blush, the game appears to be a knockoff of something like Audiosurf, but after getting past the simple aesthetics of the title, you’ll realize that there’s more to it than that.

Gameplay challenges you with navigating a ribbon filled with colorful obstacles by tilting your iPhone. The game is set to music, meaning that obstacles will appear to match the beat of the current track, with the base pack coming with eight remixed versions of three licensed Black Eyed Peas songs.

The standard app costs just $2.99, but Finger Gaming is reporting that it can be enhanced with three additional levels containing songs by Tiësto and Benny Benassi. Each of the add-ons costs 99 cents.
