Restaurant City, Social

Do you hear the wedding bells ringing? You should, as this week’s theme in Restaurant City is “Wedding Party,” and while the full series of decorative items won’t be released until later this week, your customers can still sink their virtual teeth into some new themed recipes, courtesy of Playfish.

Thus far, there are two new recipes to learn with this theme – one starter, and a dessert (one guess as to what the dessert is). Before we get to the obvious, the starter dish is Canapes, and it is a limited time only dish, meaning that it comes with a time limit. As of this writing, the time limit sits at 21 days, meaning that if you can’t accumulate the required ingredients to learn this dish within the next three weeks, it will disappear from your menu, presumably for good. You’ll need four ingredients to learn the Canapes recipe: Salmon, Coriander, Pork and Pineapple.

Now for the recipe you’ve expected. What’s a wedding without wedding cake? While you can’t cook the entire cake, you can serve “Slices of Happiness” to friends. This recipe for this slice of wedding cake requires three ingredients to learn – Chocolate, Sugar, and Cream. It too is a limited recipe, meaning that if you can’t learn it within 21 days, you will lose your chance.

Remember, learning the Slice of Happiness recipe will be easier now that Sugar has been added to the game’s free gifts menu, but also remember that this is a limited-time-only scenario in and of itself. To learn these new recipes, or take advantage of the free Sugar being offered as a gift in the game, head over to your own restaurant.
