iPhone, Mobile

Touch Arcade has broken the news that Rayman 2: The Great Escape has released on the iPhone and it seems it was a worthy port. The port seems to be largely untouched from the 1999 original which should make long time fans of the franchise pleased. Gameloft seem to be the specialist in creating mobile versions of existing games or franchises and judging from early impressions, that seems to be the case here.

At $9.99, it is one of the pricier games available but this is a port of a full on console game so it may be worth it if you like these types of games. I think the game could prove to be very well done if it controls properly. I have attached a video so you can see for yourself how the game fares on its new mobile home.
