Earlier in the week, we told you that Chillingo planned to bring their sequel to the successful Radio Flare, appropriately titled Radio Flare Redux to the iPhone App Store in a “few days.” Well, it’s been a few days, and the game is now available on the App Store. Funny how that works.
Radio Flare Redux costs $2.99, and provides 33 levels of music-based, side-scrolling shooting. As reported by FingerGaming, you use your thumb or a single finger to dodge bullets while you use a second finger to target enemies. The game’s dependence on music sees the gameplay actually pulsing to the beat of the techno, electronic tracks that play in the background.
Here’s a trailer of the game to refresh your memory. After you watch that, head over to iTunes if you’d like to download a copy of the game for yourself. ![]()
