Casual, Console, Puzzle

Yesterday, Konami announced the launch of Puzzle Chronicles, their newest title available on the PC, Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network.

Puzzle Chronicles is a puzzle-based RPG that sees you traveling throughout a fantasy world fighting sorceresses, warlords, wizards, monsters and more, all on a quest for revenge in the original setting of the Ashurin Empire. The actual gameplay is the puzzle aspect, with gems on a grid-like gameplay area that you can use to defeat your opponents, while the RPG elements come in after battles, as your hero levels up, gaining strength, honor, agility and wisdom points, along with earning gold that can be used on new items.

In addition to the game’s story mode, you can take part in three more modes: Quick Battle, Local Versus, and Online Versus. The latter two modes will test your quick decision making skills as you manipulate the gems on the screen in the best way to easily defeat your opponent.

Puzzle Chronicles is now available on Xbox Live Arcade for 800 Microsoft Points and for $9.99 on both Windows PC and the PlayStation Network. For more information about the game, check out Konami’s official website.
