A new “idol-like” item has been added to Happy Pets, although the particular item in question isn’t technically an idol; rather, it’s a Pot of Gold, which can be placed in any room of your house after purchasing it from the store for 90 Facebook Credits (or $9 US).

The Pot of Gold is an interesting item, in that it offers a prize ones every 24 hours, but the prize changes the longer you own the item. For the first 14 days, you’ll be able to click on the Pot of Gold to receive a single Facebook Credit. On the 15th day, you’ll receive an “exclusive Microcat” when clicking on the item. Every day after that, you’ll receive a lump sum of 300 coins. This continues forever, or as long as you own the Pot of Gold.

There are less than 1,000 Pots of Gold left to purchase in the game, so be sure to head over to the game’s page to pick yours up now, before they sell out.
