Casual, Console

Up until now, Bejeweled has been available to purchase on 15 different platforms, but that changes today with PopCap’s announcement that Bejeweled 2 is now available to download on Nintendo WiiWare.

The game has been specially designed to take advantage of the Wii’s capabilities, and include Mii integration, allowing you to keep track of your stats and scores, while standing alongside you during gameplay, appropriately reacting when you make a great match, score a huge combo, and the like.

There are four different controls schemes to choose from, which include options designed specifically for the use of the WiiMote, Nunchuck or even the Classic Controller, for those who prefer such a layout.

Both global and online leaderboards will help you keep track of your scores in the game, as you compete to become the very best at the game, and the game’s (expected) four game modes all make an appearance here: Classic, Action, Endless and Puzzle.

Bejeweled 2 is now available to download on WiiWare for 1000 Wii Points.
