If you’re an avid player of Bejeweled Blitz on Facebook, you might have noticed a few… odd happenings in the game after it was updated on January 26. Leaderboards were glitched, causing players to randomly appear and disappear from the lineup, while some players reported difficulty loading the game.

According to Games.com, PopCap acknowledged the issue by saying that Blitz’s problems were caused by a “trillion exploding gems,” and have now released a sort of olive branch to fans by giving away 50,000 free coins to anyone who logs into the game before February 9.

The bonus coins can be used to buy power-ups that can add more time to the game’s clock and add multipliers to the board at the beginning of the game, among other perks.
