Yesterday, TriplePoint client Polarbit announced an update to their racing game Raging Thunder 2. The update itself features the addition of new leaderboards and touch controls for the title on both the iPhone/iPad and Android platforms (the touch controls offer another option in addition to motion controlling).
In terms of the leaderboards, users will now be able to see how they compare to other players on a global scale, and detailing much more information than simply their fastest time on a track, as information is saved concerning race achievements as well, including longest jump cleared or highest speed reached, among others.
You’ll also be able to download race ghosts from the leaderboards, in order to challenge the fastest times and sharpen your skills. What makes these leaderboards all the more exciting for users is the ability to check scores across platforms, meaning that an iPhone racer can challenge a high score earned by an Android gamer.
