Pocket God Mixes Morons with Misfits

I don’t know if it’s fair to say that the hapless pygmies in Pocket God are morons, necessarily. Yes, they continue to live on an island where they are perpetually immolated, electrocuted, devoured, and flicked into a volcano, and anybody with even an ounce of smarts would have picked a new home by now. But is it their fault, or are they merely victims of circumstance (and extremely cruel players)?

TriplePoint client Bolt Creative is offering to let us find out, with the latest free expansion to Pocket God, entitled “Episode 37: The Moron Pests.” The new content includes the debut of the Island of Misfit Cross Overs, a place where the iPhone game can pay tribute to a few of its contemporaries. Episode 37 pits the pygmies against an homage to The Moron Test, challenging players to answer a series of fast-paced questions and challenges in order to outrun a hungry turtle. Which is already inside of a hungry snake.

Yeah, correct answers or not, I’m thinking the pygmies have chosen the worst possible place to live. Oh, well, the economy is hitting us all pretty hard.
